We had a wonderful Sunday lunch at this restaurant. The monkfish was excellent and the dining room was very pleasant. The atmosphere was relaxing and comfortable. However, I deducted one star from the service rating as they forgot to bring my tea.

We went for lunch which was excellent and a glass of fizz for my husband whose birthday it was is a nice touch. Only suggestion from me, if I was pushed, a couple more choices on lunch menu. But whole experience was excellent.

We went for the fish chip supper and were very pleased, it was cooked to perfection with a lovely light crispy batter. Everything was really good and we will definitely be coming back with family and friends. The service was perfect and it was nice and quiet. We enjoyed it very much. Thanks to the staff the chief.

The positives, lovely venue, happy staff and availability to book at short notice. On the flip side, we waited 25 minutes for food after being seated for our tea and the very polite waiter told me there would be other flavours of sandwiches on the stand after I told him I don't like salmon. When it arrived my mum ate the salmon sandwiches and I ate the cheese. No exception to my request! The scones were hands down amazing! The chef's cakes were average and we left them after tasting them, I looked at the other tables and they'd done the same. Overall, a special venue but feels too big for the amount of customers that were actually in on the day it felt empty with not much atmosphere. Voir le carte
