Fish was still swimming Cheap and greasy fish. Raw. Chips were ok Ordered battered sausage aswell and it was not good

Wonderful fish and chip shop - ordered delivery and it was delicious and arrived promptly. Can't wait to visit in person and try more dishes.

This restaurant serves delicious meals that are perfectly cooked and not too greasy. The portions are generous and the service is friendly and efficient. I can't find any faults with this place. Voir le carte

Do not trust the good reviews as they apply to the previous owners. Current owners speak basic English, not friendly and super slow. The cod came out limp, cheap and greasy batter Don't bother! We wasted £40 on cod and chips. Never again.

Best fish and chips we've had in ages. We had mini cod fillet and chips. Expecting a small piece of cod, we got 2 good sized pieces with chips each. The batter was so crispy and not greasy. It was good that they have inside tables and chairs so we ate in there. There was too much for me. The food and sizes were amazing. Will definitely eat there again

New owners so now a take away with seating. Putting prebattered and then fried fish onto grease proof paper in an open weave plastic tray meant the oil, all of it, congealed under the fish. Not cheap, mushy green mass that may have been peas, no customer care, no hot drinks. They still have awards from the previous owners on the window which they are not entitled to. Absolutely delicious. The fish and chips were probably the best I've ever had. The homemade chips were huge, the cod was juicy and delicious, and the batter was light and crispy. Despite being labeled as a light bite, the portion was really generous. In addition, it came with a fresh piece of bread and two patties of butter, as well as a glass of wine, all for under £15. I can't think of a better deal and I may just have to come back for dinner. The service was also great.

Came across this little gem of a fish chip shop that offers Gluten-free options . The lovely couple went to a lot of trouble to explain how the fryers are separate showed me the flour batter he used were safe gluten free , I am coeliac can’t tolerate any cross contamination. So hubby I went back this evening to sample their food . It was so reassuring to know my food was safe to eat . I had Cod chips even had gluten free vinegar. It was delicious ! the fish was flaky fresh cooked to perfection the batter was light crispy not at all greasy . The chips were amazing too . Having checked for good fish and chips in Weymouth we expected good fish and chips at The Old Harbour. Seriously not good. We had to wait 35 minutes after placing and paying for) our order having been told to expect an up to ten minute wait. We watched a painfully slow team of three stumble around together operating inefficiently. But we knew our order would be fresh when we eventually got it. Well freshly cooked doesn’t mean well cooked. The batter was thick and doughy with an inside layer around the fish undercooked and unpalatable.
