The Old Bell - Menu

Nice pub good service shame about the food. Poor quality overcooked food. Really disappointed with the menu and the food wasn't nice at all... even the chips were horrible. Will not be returning.

Ordered fish chips takeaway and it was the best fish chips we eaten for a long time. Great taste, lovely fish and top chips. Will 100% order again and like to try other items. On top of the great food the service from ordering to delivery was fantastic also.

Service is absolutely incredible, they go above and beyond and are very friendly. Food is absolutely delicious always find it very difficult to decide what to have. They have done really well keeping open and keeping to social distancing rules. Highly recommend coming for lunch or dinner.

We have recentlymoved to Saham Toney, so as family were visiting booked in for Sunday Carvery. Very accommodating for a vegan family member, who had a lovely nut roast. Food was delicious and plentiful, and gorgeous selection of deserts. Roaring fires in he pub, gave a homely feel and wonderful ambience. All the staff were lovely and attentive, feel so lucky to have a lovely local pub on our doorstep.

This was very near to our holiday apartment for the week so decided to have dinner here one night. There is a large marquee on part of the car park to make the most of current guidelines. The remainder of the parking was full so we had to park on the street. We were sat in the marquee and waited a little time for someone to come and serve us. Food was lovely, we had mains and desserts and the prices were very reasonable. Friendly servers.

We rang to book and was told to come at 6 45 as it was fully booked from 7 Arrived at 6 45 to find a couple of people outside but not one person in the bar or restaurant. Only a couple of people came in at 7 so how they could be fully booked is a mystery. Was given the menu which was very limited and more suited to a lunchtime rather than a Friday evening. No steak available but jacket potatoes and paninis which I would expect to find on a cafe lunch menu. Was left no option than to order pizza which was nice and well cooked but not what I was wanting to eat. Didn’t bother to stay for dessert. The staff were friendly and service was good. We called in this pud in watton has we were visiting for the week and was recommended to this place With it been a Sunday they were only doing cavery which we didn't have a problem with You filled in a form with your name on it and the waitress took it and brought your meal back The cavery was £8.50 ok not bad for Sunday lunch with choice of beef pork sausage and vegan we had the beef with roast potatoes cabbage carrots and more The dinner was cold it was just slapped on the plate and it wasn't very nice it was something that you would get in a market cafe and was worth about £4.50 which is what is was only worth instead of the £8.50 Would we visit it again NO and I certainly wouldn't recomm...

We are staying locally and popped in for lunch. Warm welcome from the lady behind the bar. Sadly not many customers.. One or two lcals at the bar but nobody else eating. A sign of the times I suppose. I had Beef chilli which was very nice although I could have done with a larger portion of chilli. Followed be bread and butter pudding which was light and delicious, plenty of dried fruit. My wife had Beef and ale pie followed by chocolate fudge cake which she vey much enjoyed. Prices were very reasonable but I would have prefered to pay a bit more for a lorger portion of chilli. We hurried to get there on time to find a couple of people sat outside and the bar and restaurant completely empty. We had a choice of where we sat and other than a couple of other people coming in to eat i n the bar the restaurant remained empty the whole time. the menu was disappointing and more suited to lunch than dinner on a Friday night.
