The landlord and landlady have the most appalling attitude towards customers to the point were I felt very uncomfortable. The food was average and reasonable value but the atmosphere was decidedly inhospitable. Give it a wide berth. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

We enjoyed the food , the staff were present and helpful . It was noisy from the snooker area , we should have sat further away . Would have been better if that was in a different room . My partner and I decided to visit the pub tonight to try out the new menu, and we were absolutely delighted. It was Wednesday evening, and despite it only being the first week since the launch, the pub was bustling with diners and had a fantastic atmosphere. The new menu is excellent, offering something for everyone. I tried the pesto chicken, which was delicious, and the food was served hot and nicely presented. The service at the bar was quick for drinks, and the wait staff were very attentive. It was a pleasure to chat with Katie and James, the manager, about the menu; their enthusiasm and passion for the place were evident. We will definitely become regulars at The New Inn! I loved it!

Visited early this afternoon for a lunch date with my husband, we were both very impressed with our visit and would return in future. We both had a starter and a main, portion sizes were generous and the food itself was delicious. The pub was very quiet for a Saturday afternoon but it was nice and quiet, although we did feel sorry for the lady behind the bar who was not only serving behind the bar but also taking food orders and waiting on tables she did a fab job despite being swept off her feet. We were going to indulge in a pudding however chose not to as there wasn’t a vegetarian ice cream dessert option (only a rocky road sundae, not veggie), so would love to see a vegetarian ice cream...
