Excellent food, proper portions at a reasonable price. Highly recommend a visit, the menu had a really good selection, also a good selection of local beers and lagers. Service was good, friendly staff

We were on a short break with our teenage granddaughter, people are so welcoming and really lovely, food was great, good hearty pub Faye , we come from Essex and are used to gastro pubs so it was wonderful to have proper beautifully cooked pub grub! It was a super evening thank you

Lovely pub. We didn't book but they accommodated us. We had the steak and kidney pie, sausage and mash, beef curry and gammon egg and chips. All delicious. The curry didn't taste particularly like curry and has no spice so if you're looking for a curry with a kick it's not for you. However it was delicious. Clean plates all round and would go again. Would recommend to anyone wanting a good quality good sized meal

Booked for an early dinner on the way back to our holiday park. Was just expecting average pub grub but was really impressed. Menu had a surprisingly good range, all a very generous size and the fish and chips was one of the best I’ve had in a long time. The kids meals were generous, quality food and had a colourful salad (kids meals are so often beige! Desserts also went down well! Good service as well and fantastic value for money Voir le carte

Stayed here for 1 night whilst walking the Tamara trail. Warm welcome as we checked into our lovely room (Pearce) with its own little private roof terrace. Comfy super king bed and sofa in the room. Beautiful shower room with large enclosure and plenty of hot water. We had a delicious dinner downstairs then drank in the bar watching the England/Switzerland match. Great cooked breakfast the next day before heading off to Duckpool on the coast.

We were staying at Pentire campsite and wanted an evening meal. We walked (but on the main road but quickly got to paths took about 15 20 minutes From the outside looks small but is a tardis and goes way back. There was a skittles match at the back going on, from bar was mainly locals and drinks and in the middle loots of tables with couples, families, friends etc I had vegan burger with chips salad which was delicious but a little pricey esp as the coleslaw wasn’t vegan (maybe something to think about? partner had fish and chips which looked lovely and fresh with a light clean batter. Would definitely recommend this pub bar stayed were helpful friendly and we had a lovely evening

We stayed over for 3 nights over the bank holiday weekend. Luckily for us it was a last minute cancellation as our original booking elsewhere had closed down and we didn’t find out until the night before looking on this site, no notification from booking site or premises owner!! Anyway we had a great stay here. We had a very large room with a wardrobe, dressing table a super king bed and a double sofa bed. The room was very modern and super comfy beds. We had complimentary tea, coffee etc and shower gel/ shampoo in the bathroom. Free WiFi was available and a smart TV. Breakfast was lovely we got onto chose a time to suit and got exactly what we wanted. We had a couple of evening meals here I... Voir le carte
