"We visited an authentic traditional pub on the outskirts of Westbury on Trim. We enjoyed a Sunday lunch with delicious home-cooked vegetables and a satisfying cut of meat. Our party of 5, including 3 adults, ordered alcohol-free drinks and 2 glasses of wine, totaling £87, which we found to be reasonable. The pub offers pleasant outdoor seating with a lovely view, perfect for summer dining. They had two televisions showing different sports, although the screens were not very large or loud, so it may not be the best choice for sports enthusiasts. The only downsides were a lack of parking spaces on the day of our visit and the absence of cauliflower cheese on the menu."

delicious eating to affordable trips, served by really friendly and accommodating staff. the pub building itself is quite small, but there is a large garden with magnificent view over blaise.

Fantastic little pub. Been here a few times over the last few weeks. Best Guinness I can find locally. Not too pricey for Bristol these days. Just had lasagne with side salad chips and garlic bread. It was actually really really good! The pub and garden are not the largest but the views from the garden are stunning. I will clearly be returning. Gonna try Sunday roast next weekend I'm hoping!? The staff are cool too! All round a good traditional boozer. Get in there people, it's worth it.
