Not too busy but disabled lift is still not working which was a problem

The food was delicious. Despite the busy crowd, the atmosphere remained relaxed and inviting.

My sister and I had a fantastic dining experience at this restaurant. We went on the Steak night and also participated in the drink club promotion. The atmosphere was great and the service was excellent, with attention to detail. Voir le carte

Worst breakfast i have ever had i know i asked for a small breakfast but a teaspoon of beans , all of it was barely warm i asked the question if they probe the food before it is served !! The answer dont know i will never go in there again kendal)

I thoroughly enjoyed visiting this impressive pub in Kendal on a couple of occasions. I stopped in for afternoon drinks and snacks, which were delicious and reasonably priced. I came back the next day for breakfast, which was once again served hot by friendly and helpful staff. The tables were clean and tidy, and I found the layout of the pub to be varied and interesting.

Truly awful and simply confirmed my long held belief that in life, you get what you pay for. I can’t be bothered to waste time or words by going into detail, but suffice to say every aspect was dreadful; food, beer, service, staff attitude were all appalling. We engaged with the manager (Cora) about the problems but this was pretty pointless, as she clearly had an agenda based on the concept that the customer is always wrong! The staff are clearly used to dealing with drunks and wastrels so unless you fall into that category, avoid this place at all costs. If you’re in Kendal, go to the Cortillo Lounge instead. there were times when I was a positiw last resort at wetherspoons. I crashed the whole country. I never ate and thought after that wow, that was great in that did that opposite. this pub was up. a bit with the poorest. my wife ordered the 5 bohnen chili, the stodgie, unattractiw with the rice served in clumps and as the waitress said, we should have said running out toos as I ordered the fish and chips there is not so much chance on a dick above. the eating was tasteless, the service bad and because the staff mentioned the missing nachos, the waitress remained well from our table. we had no opportunity to complain. I really have to stick to my plan to never eat any other wetherspoons.

First visit to Kendal so called in here for a quick lunch as we used our own local Wetherspoons 2/3 times a week so know what we are getting. Ordered a large house Rose wine to be told I can’t have it as they have a broken line! Suggested I try a bottled white wine instead which was for me. Ordered a Katsu grilled chicken breast curry which arrived as a breaded chicken curry which tasted awful. Also our server was very abrupt when my Husband asked for the salad dressing (which usually comes with the salad) saying I told you the condiments are over there! Kendal is lovely but I would suggest you give Wetherspoons a miss as there are plenty of other nicer eating places in town with better trai...

The food wasn't fantastic. The lemon chicken tasted awful! We had travelled to Kendal from North Cumbria for my husband's birthday and didn't want to spoil his birthday so I joked that it tasted more like floor cleaner! The chicken barely tasted of lemon more of neat alcohol and there were no herbs in it. The chicken tasted mushy! My husband tasted it and agreed it was awful! The apple crumble was full of cinnamon which was not stated on the menu. I have a food intolerance to histamine and cinnamon is a spice to be avoided to avoid a reaction.
