The Midland Tapas Wine

Just amazing wonderful food and a great evening. We read the reviews and talking to people this was the place to be. It did not disappoint the staff were amazing.

A great find and an enjoyable evening. Three of us had an evening meal with quality tapas. Staff were incredibly helpful with car parking, excellent table service and a reasonable bill. Highly recommended

First visit to the Midland at the weekend, I think this might become my favourite go to place. Everything was absolutely delicious, had 5 dishes between 2 of us and that was plenty. Service was great too. Will definitely be back soon.

Terrible experience! The clam chowder was served cold and wasn't much improved even after we sent it back to be reheated. The other tapas dishes were also not worth the price, so we ended up leaving most of it uneaten. We definitely won't be returning to this restaurant. Voir le carte

Amazing team of young staff- naturally happy and welcoming and wow did the kitchen team work hard we sat next to it . Food was served piping hot and swiftly and a very bustly cheery place. Loved the aoli with the calamari and the chorizo dish. Good choice of affordable wines. We left smiling

Really enjoyable evening spoiled slightly by over spiced food. I love spicy food, to me a vindaloo is just about right but for some reason most of our dishes all had something added which ruined them, my partner had to force herself to eat quickly due to the extreme heat! Having a chilly scale on the menu would my suggestion to advise customers. Value wise just like most restaurants on the higher end, 5 dishes, 4 drinks and 2 desserts, £82. Great atmosphere and service by the staff! Final let down, no Guinness : definitely need to get this on tap!

We had a wonderful evening at The Midland for dinner. The atmosphere was lively, with good music playing. We enjoyed chatting with the couple next to us, who had their dog with them (we are dog lovers). The food was plentiful, quickly served, and delicious. The wine was great and the service was excellent. The bill came to £82, which we found slightly pricey but were happy to pay. My partner had two small criticisms: the creme brulee could have been set more and the menu could have been clearer, as the chicken kebab dish was actually spicy curry flavored, which was not stated on the menu.
