"We dined here on Wednesday evening we decided to share a starter , we had the Mulled Pear salad with Stilton walnuts. This was a really nice starter the salad was fresh a tossed in olive oil i have to say that they did not scrimp on the Stilton or the Walnuts as some other restaurants would do. we would score the starter 10/10 really good.For mains we both had the Pork loin Belly Pork this came with green beans Mashed potato. The Pork Loin was served on some cabbage with bacon lardens , this was a very nice touch different to what we had been served in the past. The belly pork was fine shame it did not crackle a little more but it still was a very nice meal . In previous visits we have had the pork loin served with a stick or two of crackling, if they had done that it would have been perfection.We know it is under new owners we were a bit concerned that the food might be not as good.... But this is not the case at all, in fact i would say they are being a little more imaginative .The service is still very good the staff are very polite helpful. They also still use the Gourmet Society card which is an added bonus. A very nice meal service Thanks!!"

"an unexpected joy. we hoped that a good pub-grub warmed up, as we were close to the campsite hanley swan. we were recommended to book on Tuesday evening in the morning and actually it was busy with a nice atmosphere. the service was attentive and friendly and the food was fantastic and beautifully cooked. one of the best meals we had in the old, naturally freshly prepared with imagination and love from the cook. highly recommended and we will definitely come back when we are close again. a great culinary experience."

"We happened on this wonderful gem of a pub by chance. We had been walking all round Eastnor Castle on the first lovely Saturday of the New Year and decided to celebrate with a traditional pub lunch. Drove a ‘solid’ couple of miles up the road to The Wellington Inn to find a delightful welcome, lovely fire and delicious food and beer. The dog even got a biscuit and water on tap; terrific. The perfect end to a perfect morning. It was also fantastic value. We will certainly be returning and cannot recommend more highly!"

"Completely Faultless birthday celebration from the minute we walked in the door to the minute we walked out. My girlfriend and I had a fantastic time with great food, a brilliant atmosphere and wonderful staff. There was a large selection of drinks available but we went safe with a lovely bottle of red and started with soufflé and belly pork. After these the standard just rose, expertly cooked duck and steak for main was followed by sorbet and sticky toffee and all was topped off with some more drinks, including a new found love in my life…………..Bumbu rum !! The staff were very friendly, attentive and extremely helpful throughout the evening, nothing was too much trouble. As we got the got the bill we were asked by the waiter about our reason for the visit, we explained it was for my girlfriend’s birthday to which he returned a few minutes later we a small cake and candle, completely unprompted or planned but made us both smile and it was a small gesture that made a huge impression and rounded off a great evening perfectly. Thank you to all the staff at the Inn for a magical evening and we’ll definitely be back soon."
