"Have just been in for Sunday lunch and we had one of the best roast dinners that we’ve had for a while. Choice was limited to pork or lamb but it was beautifully cooked and presented. Lovely ambiance with good beer and a lovely hostess to chat with. As what will be a local pub to us will definitely be returning fairly often. Service: 5"

The pub left quite a bit to be desired. Our bedroom and bathroom were a good size and pleasantly decorated but the general ambience of the pub was that it needs a wholesale revision.

The food here is impeccable. I came here for the first time when they reopened in may and now I’m in here every night, the landlady her self is lovely as well as the bar staff and the very friendly dog! Can’t fault the place very attentive staff, good food and an overall pretty location.
