"Popped in last Sunday after taking our Labrador for a local walk. Staff were fantastic, helpful and brought over a couple of dog biscuits. Sat next to a beautiful roaring fire... perfect. The light bite sandwiches were hearty fare and great value too! Will definitely be returning as my partner spotted someone being served a delicious looking Steak Pie. Would certainly recommend the place to anyone searching for a 'real ' country Pub."

Visited for the first time today, on a friends recommendation. It's a great traditional pub with good beer and the food is excellent. One of the best Sunday lunches around.

a warm and welcoming pub eating was excellent good menu and the prices would highly recommend that this pub it was early on Saturday night and bar was great atmosphere with friendly and helpful staff our first visit and despite not our last.
