"We had an exceptionally fantastic evening on Friday, October 28th. The service was excellent from the moment we walked in - friendly, professional, and not intrusive. The food was incredible. Our starters of King scallop and pigeon were both delicious and beautifully presented. The main courses of stuffed Sole and Chicken ballotine were also outstanding. We enjoyed some great wines and a cocktail to end the meal. The restaurant had a spacious layout, pleasant background music, and overall it was a wonderful evening."

This has to be one of the best restaurants to eat in Essex , lovely food in a lovely setting ! It’s nice to go somewhere too that people can dress up for !! Never had a bad meal here or found cause to complain , great place ! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Overall, everything was excellent as usual. The parking is limited, but there is a larger car park nearby. The service was top-notch and the meal was fantastic. I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere a perfect 5. Plus, there is free parking available.

Went today for Sunday lunch for my birthday...all 4 of us absolutely agreed it was the best roast dinner we had ever had !! ...topped off with wonderful staff and impeccable service .....seriously can not recommend this place highly enough!! Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch

A little cramped. So much so that wheelchair users have to go outside to get to the toilets. The food was very good, although, when they say the sirloin is best served pink, they were wrong. I like the idea of rare meat, but it was rather chewy. Prices are high, but you're paying for high class food. Too much attention payed to the presentation for my style. Portion sizes were reasonable. Menu choice was also reasonable. Staff were very polite and friendly.
