"Paid for all you can eat breakfast, i ate as much breakfast as i could eat. All in all a very successful mission for both parties involved. Place was clean, seats were comfy. Plates were given to us the second we ordered, The breakfast was very good. Beans were hot , bacon was hot . Eggs were cooked nicely. Sausages tasted nice, and all food was kept hot under professional grade heat lamps. 16 quid for 2 adults and you can have as much as you like. You wont get that value within a 2 minute walk of home. Shame Tina didn't like it though"

Well, it's at least cheap. eating bad quality, noisy, overcrowded and unpleasant. but stupid.

We really enjoy coming to the Lord Louis for a Sunday roast. We've had wonderful service from Karen on two different times we've been. Tasty carvery and great puddings, and very family friendly too

Went today and the carvery was absolutely lovely. A member of staff called Charlotte was incredibly friendly and helpful also. She made sure we had everything we needed and did so with politeness! Very happy

Tonight, I went to Lord Louis for their carvery, which was excellent as usual. Joe, our server, was pleasant and professional. I highly recommend the experience, with a great selection of vegetables, a choice of 3 meats, and friendly staff. Voir le carte

I went to Lord Louis tonight and we waited for a good half an hour for our drinks. The kind lady who noticed we had been waiting for our drinks for a long time gave us free desserts! I was extremely pleased with the service and she was very friendly. I will definitely be returning.

Haven't been to The Lord Louis in a while and was pleasantly surprised. Lee served us at the carvery, he was lovely, very friendly and friendly. Chelsea looked after our table and couldn't have even more helpful, she was amazing with the younger children. Great experience thanks to Chelsea and Lee

Popped into here for a quick Sunday lunch after not visiting for ages. Served by Tyler who was friendly and welcoming. The food was fresh and readily available. The beef was by far the best I’ve had in a long time and reminded me of Christmas! Only suggestion would be to have a thicker option of gravy… bit too watery for my liking, but that’s nit picking. All round a very good experience. Thank you. Voir le carte

The service at this restaurant was absolutely fabulous, especially after my major surgery in November. Going out for a meal was a big fear of mine, but tonight they were so supportive. They provided me with a smaller portion and even changed it from a bowl to a plate. They made my meal out for my son's 18th birthday truly wonderful. A big thank you to Lee and Lily for their kindness. We will definitely be coming back again.

Absolutely stunning roast and top table service! The roast was full of different flavours and cooked to perfection!, as some places all the veg taste so bland but here is absolutely flavoursome, Table service nothing too much bother especially with having 4 children being a little loud and indecisive, our waitress was fab! Huge 5 stars if give more if I could, especially to Lea, Karen, Rob and Ryan! Keep up the awesome hard work and yummy food!

"Visited on a busy Saturday evening. General impression is the restaurant is clean, well presented and evidently well liked for how many people were in the small dining area. A little noisy, particularly in the confined space beside the kitchen, when seated close beside a louder table. As the evening progressed, we felt quite cold not sure if the heating was on? Service from the staff was outstanding, very friendly, polite, attentive, but food was slow to arrive. We were a little perplexed by having the appetiser on the table before our starter/main order had been taken, so having to work around still having the menus. The smoked butter was very strong my partner liked it, it was too much for me. Both fish starters were good, with the mackerel our favourite. The main courses were OK. The lamb was fine, but served with lamb fat root veg meant the whole plate was very similar flavoured, and the green beans/salsa verde felt like an afterthought. The skate wing was nice, and the crispy capers were a new and pleasant experience. The desserts rescued the food for me the creme brulée was outstanding, and the chocolate special was very good, with exception of a slightly chewy meringue. I feel I'm being picky with my criticisms, but fig tree is definitely priced higher than other more standard fare restaurants in Plymouth where we have also had very good food."
