"First time I've ever eaten here and have to be honest, we didn't enjoy it. I picked my son up and went for breakfast. The layout was confusing enough that I had to ask where the food was for the all you can eat breakfast. I was guided to a small counter tucked away by what looked like a kitchen entrance. There was very little food there so we took what we could and went back to the table. I double checked the menu when I got back and a number of items were missing. We tried to get toast (bread and pastries are kept elsewhere in the restaurant) but someone was letting their child play with the toaster so we left it. Coffee machine wasn't working that day so had to use a sachet of coffee. Wouldn't have been an issue if there was some nicer coffee to use. We finished our food and I went back for seconds hoping to find the missing food from earlier but it wasn't there. Again, I took a bit of what was there and went back to the toaster which now wasn't working at all.. Taste wise, I've had nicer all you can eat breakfasts (and a nicer experience) at Brewers Fayre. My son was also disappointed with the food so we'll need to look for somewhere else the next time I pick him up. I've given the atmosphere a low score based on the poor layout, machines not working and missing menu items. Parents letting their kids play with food which is out for customers to eat and the machines was also a negative."

Food is pretty good usually get seated straight away due to us making a reservation before hand. Food can be quite pricey so recommend signing up for the promotions as they do regular deals

Fantastic staff, really friendly and helpful. Can't say a word against them. The food is nice although it's not a lot for the price. I could easily have eaten two, and that would have been REALLY expensive. The kids' meals are tiny.

Had a brilliant time celebrating my father in laws birthday here! Our server was amazing and helped us with all our orders and the cake we had brought. He was very friendly and made sure we all had everything we needed to enjoy ourselves. Will be coming again!

Lovely welcoming staff. We were staying next door at The Premier Inn and we're recommended to eat at the Beefeater with a meal deal. The food was great the first night, as was breakfast, but the second night wasn't great, although the waitress did remember us with a smile. All the seating was badly stained and not very appealing!

Myself and my partner came here for a 3 course meal (date night) and the staff were really helpful and friendly along with the food being delicious! I have a few food intolerances (very new to myself) and they were more than accommodating, double checking all foods to make sure they were safe for me to eat. Thank you for being so helpful and welcoming!

Very clean and tidy venue. Had a walk in breakfast which I do at many Beefeater restaurants around the country. The staff were very friendly and welcoming but the buffet was a bit of a let down. The fried eggs were far too firm and the scrambled eggs had solidified under the heater lamps. I feel a lot of food must have been thrown away that day. (Thurs 10th August) but they must have cooked for lots of no show customers.

We had a lovely 3 course meal, the restaurant was busy but the wait was short, no complaints the staff were frendly the food was tasty and it was very clean including the toilets, we both had chicken wings, I had steak changed my chips for a jacket potato my husband had a burger and we both had the chocolate Brownie, I had a large and a medium white wine and my husband had a pepsi all for under £45 for two of us, we will definitely be back thank you for a lovely experience x

Call in today excellent service eat in the bar area was served by a very pleasant and polite bar man Ethan Edwards could t do enough for us also excellent with my grandson nothing was to much trouble well done … Also spoke to a young manager there today on the great service we got from the above young man he was also very polite and a peoples persons……. Sorry to say the older of the two managers disgraceful behaviour i noticed …I also work In hospitality as a manager and know how difficult shifts can be so sometimes you need to give staff a break when they are doing a **** good job …….
