"Several in my group were excited to order the sausage rolls only to find they weren’t as advertised. They actually contained hot dogs very disappointing. Another had a baked potato that didn’t contain all the topping ingredients as advertised. As always, the staff was very warm, and provided excellent customer service, but I would urge you to correct your menu!"

"Mangiamo molto spesso e molto volentieri al Covo: atmosfera familiare e al contempo professionale, prodotti freschi e cibo di qualità per tutti i gusti. Ampia scelta di primi e secondi, sia di carne sia di pesce, e anche la pizza è davvero buona con un impasto molto morbido. Dolci homemade in loco, birre artigianali locali, vini e liquori di pregio e centinaia di varietà di amari, sapientemente consigliati dal preparatissimo Salvo. Da provare le ricette specifiche del menù del giorno, sempre diverse in base alle disponibilità di stagione e sempre gustose anche nella loro semplicità. "Just found this on Google maps as I was looking for where I used to live in Sicily while in the military... 30 years ago!!! I suddenly remembered the name of the restaurant I used to frequent: Valentino's. It made THAT much of an impression on me! This place is and was the absolute best. They treated my wife and me so good (as we were very frequent guests) and the food was superb! I used to get a pizza very often (with eggs), and also the Penne con Quattro Formaggio as well as the Spaghetti Bolognese and the Spaghetti Carbonara, which I totally forgot about until now. Man that is so good!!! Wonderful people there, wonderful food. Auguri to all the staff there. I have remembered you and your food fondly for 30 years. That should say something."

"Abbiamo ordinato da asporto ,ma speriamo presto di poter venire anche di presenza . Focaccia con prosciutto e cheddar davvero buonissima ,ma ho amato la red velvet ,il mio dolce preferito e davvero ben fatto in questo locale . Abbiamo assaggiato anche il bagel (quello con uovo e bacon)non facile da trovare a Catania e siamo rimasti piacevolmente stupiti anche da quello, cosi come dai pancake davvero tutto super buono. L ordine è arrivato molto velocemente e abbiamo avuto una piacevole esperienza lasciando anche la mancia . Sicuramente molto consigliato ! Ps la carta che avvolgeva il cibo era davvero particolare molto “London Style” abbiamo apprezzato molto. ————— AGGIORNAMENTO Siamo stati anche al locale e siamo rimasti sorpresi dalla cortesia e dal servizio ,abbiamo assolutamente lasciato la mancia ai ragazzi. Tutto perfetto e buonissimo come a domicilio , abbiamo provato anche il mc e cheese praticamente introvabile e ci siamo innamorati,già non vediamo l ora di tornare !!! Super consigliato!! Consigliato anche il piatto American Breakfast con l unione di dolce e salato con pancake uovo e bacon"

"During a 5 day trip in Sicily, we had to return to this wonderful restaurant. Enzo is the chef and he knows what is best for you. Forget about the menu ask what he recommends. The waiters are young, kind, professional and speak well...English. So no problem understanding what was fresh in the kitchen on both occasions. On the first evening we had only fish and what delicious cooking. Fresh, well prepared and very balanced food. The grilled Sicilian large prawns and the grilled sea bass were outstanding as the rest of a total of 10 fish, octopus, shrimp and more dishes we enjoyed. Enzo suggested the sparkling white wine (excellent choice). Honest pricing. Before leaving we indicated that we wanted to return 4 days later and were just welcome. This time we wanted to taste a broad range of what the kitchen offered: First the encrusted (bread) mussels in a red tomato sauce it was like the sun came out of this dish when we broke the crust. Perhaps one of the best Italian dishes ever! Then on to tasting the outstanding house pizza with a dough light and crispy, tomato, ham and cheese simple ingredients but with an outstanding taste made by the pizzaiolo Carlo. Then on to the meat of Angus beef, tender and tasty, a large salat, crisp and fresh. Enzo suggested a bio Nero d'Avola red that surprising paired well with it all! Dessert was suggested again by the kitchen as fried paste covered with Nutella and paired with a sweet Zibibbo. All in all an outstanding meal with a reasonable pricing. As we intend to visit Sicily again this will be a restaurant to return to. What more can we say?"
