excellent and attentive service, we were even moved into the garden without asking as soon as a table was available. well maintained one and nice eating perfect after a day to foot around bristol.

Delicious food: I had the salmon cake, and it comes with a avocado and cucumber salad. We spent only 18£ per person. The beer was good; but we especially appreciate the welcoming atmosphere. Thanks!

Beautiful, hidden gem in Clifton, Bristol. Small interior but lovely inside. Family-run. Excellent selection on tap. Always get served with a FREEZING cold glass by the friendly barman. And the food is to die for, even for vegetarians!

Lovely lamb and Pork roast dinners (beef and veg options also available) by the fire, lovely service in this family run pub. Food was brilliant, parsnip croquette and dauphinoise potatoes were a nice touch. The vegan apple crumble was also lovely. Would definitely go again.

I recently went to The Lion for Sunday Lunch with a large group and was extremely impressed by the amazing food and excellent service. It was the best Sunday lunch I have ever had, and the vegetarian options were well taken care of as well. I recommend booking in advance as the restaurant was very busy.
