We got sick! Had the tuna and was very sick that evening. Service was ok, trying to rush us lots but service was slow.

Too many huge tables so took a long time to be served. Managed to drop one plate on the floor when it finally arrived, then missed another off … same for all 4 courses … so left … so disappointed, as never experienced that before at the Lighterman and have been a number of times …

The Lighterman is a decent 'gastropub ' style bar I have used it several times. The food is quirky; the flatbread was great it 's more or less a small pizza TBH. Service is mostly good but a little patchy, but it was quite busy and not really fair to be too crtitical. Great location.
