"Busy and popular pub in the middle of Blackmore. Lots of people eating and drinking, but plenty of space at the bar. The beer was good and the service quick, despite how busy it was. Nice old building with all the character you could want. They have kept it bright and welcoming inside. Luckily we were in the village already so did not need to park. Parking is a nightmare, with people inconsiderately filling the residential streets and making the junction almost impassable."

Great food, great value especially the set menu. Ales are priced well. The bar and the restaurant staff are efficient and obliging. Lovely outdoor seating too.

I went to see my daughter, and I had lunch. we first moved in, so glad we did. Welcome with great service. great looking menu and some beautiful specialties. our food looked fantastic and tasted the same. will definitely make a return

I had the vegan roasts (but currently not vegan) and it was hands down the best I hand in a long time. The flavors were so good! Highly recommend it and beef roast and dessert the Eaton fair was also a winner. Also the decor has so much character, family-friendly!

Had Sunday lunch here, what a great place to eat. Excellent Sunday dinner, good size portion and great choice of beers. On another note I booked this table for 5.45pm do you know how hard it is to get a table at this sort of time, most places stop serving food at around 3pm I will be eating here again very soon.

great interior and ambiente. beautiful layout with space between desks and workers wearing masks (this is published during omicron. friendly personal and clean/polated view of the place. we had the sunday roast (bef and lamb and the squid. good portions and tasty eating, although the rectangular plates were a little laborious (and limited the amount of food on the teller!
