"I absolutely loved this restaurant! We had lunch here, and the food was exceptional. The portions were small, but the flavors were incredible. The risotto was perfection, and my son had some eggs that looked delicious, although I couldn't try them! The staff, especially, was fantastic. We sat on the first floor, which had a great view and even better music. Unfortunately, I can’t recall the name of the gentleman working upstairs, though he had a great bag; he provided impeccable service and was incredibly friendly. He definitely knew how to create a wonderful atmosphere with his music! Thank you for making it such a wonderful afternoon with my son. I can't wait to come back!"

a very late review...visited in juli 2019 the restaurant is located on a small road directly at the flu ness. When we were there, there was one.

They had such a wonderful selection of gluten free options! Almost everything on the menu could be made GF. I got the baked fillet of cod with a side of the tomato mozzarella salad, my partner got the beef cheek, both were amazing! The cocktails were also delicious, we loved everything!

large small square over 3 etagens with views of the river. we sat in the top floor and had a great view. very cheap set-dinner menu. also for children it has chased well. it was delicious, apart from dessert from the special menu that was a really strange and dry deconstructed rice pudding.

This restaurant boasts a fantastic location and has an incredible view from the window, but the food is completely lacking in flavor, despite looking appealing. The lunch and breakfast menus are quite disappointing, and the dinner menu is overpriced. Overall, it was a nice experience, but I wouldn’t return. Voir le carte

our second visit here, and I can't make a little mistake. the personal was warm, welcoming and simply wonderful. eating and weeping was exceptional and the quality was perfect. we sat at the window with view of the river ness, and there are bridges that all festively illuminated for christmas. our visit in the kitchen made our holy evening.

We made a reservation for 8 PM, and the check-in staff was friendly and promptly showed us to our table. We ordered two house drinks: the caramel White Russian and the Monkey Business. The White Russian was a bit too creamy for my taste, while the Monkey Business Old Fashioned had an overwhelming orange flavor and was garnished with regular ice. The starters were good, but not particularly memorable. However, the monkfish was outstanding, with just the right amount of seasoning.

"Oh, what a day we had at The White House for my auntie’s 88th! It was pure magic, right from the off. The team there couldn’t have been more welcoming, making us all feel right at home in the heart of Scotland. Now, let’s gab about the food it was out of this world! We started with gluten free fish n chips, and let me tell you, it was as good as any chippy by the sea – crispy, golden, and just packed with flavor. The venison steak and beef short rib? Cooked just how you’d want them, tender and full of taste. The gluten free burgers were a hit too, so juicy and well seasoned. For pudding, we had these scoops of ice cream, smooth as you like, and an apple crunch cheesecake that was simply to die for. But it was our server, Anastasia, who really made our day. She was a wee star – always there with a smile, quick with a recommendation, and knew her menu inside out. I barely noticed our water bottle was empty, and whoosh, there she was with a full one. That’s service for you! The atmosphere in The White House was just as warm and inviting as you’d hope for. It felt like sitting in a cosy wee pub in the Highlands, with all the charm and friendliness you’d expect. So, if you’re ever in the mood for a meal that’s as satisfying as a wee dram on a cold night, head to The White House. It’s not just eating; it’s a proper Scottish experience, full of heart and soul"
