We had our wedding here recently and the venue and their staff are incredible, from the general manager to the waiter. All of them friendly, helpful great people. Highly recommended

we were with the family last night. the place was just beautiful. the staff was great, eating was great. I would highly recommend the kings arms in christchurch. for anyone looking for a great place to celebrate. with great food. Thank you!

although eating was good, lacking service and atmosphere very. the background music changed from one thema to the other again and again, none matched the meal. the service was ok, but not excellent, and instead of leaving a crippled water on the table, we had to continue asking for a filling that was annoying. must improve, bad.

the dinner was absolutely delicious, service was very attentive. two things influenced the evaluations for the ambiente first the background music was too loud for a comfortable conversation and second the child-friendly aspekt. I had not expected there to be around 20 o'clock children in lounge chairs in the restaurant. it is good for parents, but not so much for others diner.

Had our wedding here on the 20th and Gemma and Chris were amazing....from booking it to the actual day everything went perfectly....we can't thank you enough....the food was amazing so thank you to the chef! if your thinking of having your day here I would definitely recommend it without a shadow of a doubt just sad it's over now! There's a card in the post when we get back from our honeymoon!!!! Thank you guys

Came for an afternoon tea today with my friend. We were looked after by Dean who was friendly, welcoming and very professional. Service was attentive without being overbearing. The afternoon tea itself was lovely. A nice selection of sandwich fingers and freshly made cakes.The scones are particularly delicious. You need to make sure you have a good appetite as there is plenty per person (having said that we polished the lot Would definitely recommend and will be returning soon. Thanks, Kings Arms

had a nice evening and enjoyed the 4 course-suck menu, best steak we had 'd! ready for perfection, well made for a really "blue steak ". the tempura prawns followed by the twice baked cheese soufflé was just delicious. When we were asked if we could change this dessert, as neither we saw, they gave us the most beautiful fresh fruit cocktail served with ice cream of our choice, and although we said we would be happy to pay, they did not invite us. fantastic service and eating was exceptional. we're coming back!

Amazing place!! We're getting married here in 39 days! (will get my fiancé to leave another review on the wedding afterwards! I wanted to say how amazing the service is here when booking a wedding! Everything is so organised and they give so much care and attention to all the details. We came in for a meeting the other day and we're treated to a fantastic complimentary cocktail! it was fantastic! We decided to order an afternoon tea and everything was amazing, the scones were fresh out of the oven and there was more food than we could possibly manage to eat!!
