Traditional boozer with decent, well priced food, and a good selection of beers. Not many pubs like this left in St. Albans.

Quite a local pub, but very welcoming with a friendly atmosphere and great pub food. Good selection of Brewpoint (Wells) beer.

Decent locals boozer. Pool table, darts and a fruit machine. Had two games of football on and was serving food. Enjoyed the vibe and would return. Voir le carte

Karaoke on saturday, poker on sunday and quiz night on tuesday. What more could you want from a pub? Its always a friendly atmosphere whenever you enter and the staff are superb! Definitely my favourite local pub.

Hands down best pub in St albans captures the proper Culter of St albans. You will find staff mingling with people, no trouble at all and karaoke will be cheer bad or good singer. Highly recommend this pub to anyone who wants to know what St albans is really about and I've been to all of the pubs here. Voir le carte

Here for a karaoke night, decided to have some food here before the conversation began. Had sweet potatoes with cheese and bacon, the beautiful and a very generous portion. The prices for food and drinks seemed very fair to me. Beautiful people there, both customers and employees. Would definitely recommend.

If you want to go a real pub with loads, go to the Jolly it's has things going all week (Quiz Night, Darts, Pool, Poker, not to mention many screens show sports. Also, Lot 's of Pub's claim to serve the best roast dinner 's, this place really does, you will not leave hunger. Friendly staff and a great atmosphere. Special mention of karaoke on Friday and Saturday night, always guaranteed a party vibe.

After a night in London came to Jolly Sailor for office drinks. Since I and my colleagues live here and (thanks) the Jolly Sailor the last pub is open in the early hours, we thought we would see what it is about. I wasn't disappointed. After it had been in London and enduring towers/bouncers who were just for a fight, it was a pleasure to find Shaun (which we all spoke) at the door. We would come for a smoke and have a chat as drunk as we were at that point, and if we had a chat, he was so inviting.
