Hello there! I thought the service and most of the food were excellent. However, I ordered the Sunday roast with pork loin, and honestly, it looked like two pieces of bacon. I didn’t want to bring it up when we recommended the pub to our friends. Thank you. Best, The Haag.

First went about 5 years ago when it was a very standard country pub. Was bowled over at the pub that sits there now- properly good food, well worth a trip, can't be far off a star but retains a pub garden. Location is idyllic l, on the edge of the most rural parts of Hampshire. It's not cheap but didn't feel it was over priced at all!

I absolutely adored this country house! The staff was friendly, and the dogs were delightful. My room featured many charming little touches, such as a variety of teas, an espresso machine, sleeping kits, sweets, and more. I visited this restaurant with my family and our one-year-old daughter. The rooms were incredibly comfortable, and the food was delicious. The service was outstanding; we felt that nothing was too much trouble. A special mention goes to Chris, who was exceptionally kind and helpful. The staff was very accommodating, and we truly enjoyed our time here. The charming and cozy pub had a warm atmosphere, which was exactly what we were looking for. Thank you to the entire team!

Just got back from a fantastic 4 night stay at the Jack Russell with our 2 dogs. The staff are so welcoming and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. We was a bit apprehensive about taking our dogs away with us but not to worry as this is truly a dog friendly place and they really are made to feel welcome also a nice touch of cooking a sausage for the dogs at breakfast! The food in the pub is different class the rooms are immaculate nicely decorated furnished With water, tea coffee, dog treats even doggie beer! A wonderful dog-friendly inn with excellent dining and lodging. We spent two nights here and felt incredibly welcome, including our little dog, thanks to the attentive front-of-house team. This guest house is currently on the market, featuring a modern accommodation block that offers stunning views, smart rooms, and a private courtyard with outdoor seating. We stayed in the “Greyhound” room on the first floor. The pub's garden is spacious and overlooks the village pond, where ducks swim and nearby fields are dotted with sheep. The dining experience during our stay was delightful, with food that was both well-cooked and beautifully presented. I highly recommend this inn for its fantastic food... Voir le carte
