Been here for the first time today , food and service with fantastic.Staff are very welcoming and couldn't do enough for us will definitely be going back

Went in at lunch time, served quickly, food was beautiful, we had the 2 course for £9.99 good value, Demi served us and was lovely and very polite, got the little one crayon’s to colour while we waited. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This was my first visit, and I was a bit skeptical about the extensive menu. However, I was pleasantly surprised; the food was impeccable and delicious, and the service was outstanding. I will definitely be returning soon! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Dropped in Thursday lunch time. Got a table and bought the menus. A nice varied menu. Staff were lovely and very helpful. The food came, piping hot was lovely cooked and presented well. Will definitely be returning Price per person: £40–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

A really lovely evening at the New Ivy House. Despite living close we had never been here before, but we’ll definitely be going again. The food was really good and the service friendly. We didn’t feel rushed and were able to enjoy the atmosphere. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Excellent food. Menu is extensive. We have tried the superb Indian food and the traditional English food. They are always freshly prepared with fresh ingredients and piping hot. The staff are lovely, very friendly and happy to help. They do different deals on different nights, so it’s worth checking them out before you book. Highly recommend. I am Coeliac, I specifically called to check that Gluten Free chips were going to be available, as even though advertised they were not available on a previous visit. So tonight I ordered the chips and was advised that the fryer might have been used for gluten containing foods. This is just unacceptable, surely the fryer should be labelled appropriately. I do wonder if all other precautions are followed for allergies in general. So I will not be visiting again as it spoiled my night, my meal was not nice with bland rice

Fast forward to November 2023, and we returned for another group lunch, once again placing our orders in advance. After a bit of a wait for a latecomer, all our meals arrived swiftly and hot. The waitress was friendly and didn’t rush us, even though our start was delayed. Everyone seemed to enjoy their dishes. Personally, I would have preferred my liver cooked a little less since some pieces were quite tough, but it was still flavorful, complemented by delicious onion gravy and mash.
