"Fast forward to November 2023, and we returned for another group lunch, once again placing our orders in advance. After a bit of a wait for a latecomer, all our meals arrived swiftly and hot. The waitress was friendly and didn’t rush us, even though our start was delayed. Everyone seemed to enjoy their dishes. Personally, I would have preferred my liver cooked a little less since some pieces were quite tough, but it was still flavorful, complemented by delicious onion gravy and mash. My apple pie with cream was delightful.
Unfortunately, a friend's brownie was quite hard—perhaps due to being gluten-free or possibly because it cooled down while waiting for extra custard, or it could have simply been overcooked. Overall, it was a lovely lunch spent in great company."
