"Had gone yesterday. As lovely as the food was, I was more disappointed in the customer service skills shown. On arrival we didn’t know whether we was to sit down or wait for them to show us to our table. Firstly. Our table wasn’t laid. We had to ask for cutlery and when they gave us cutlery they still failed to hand us napkins. But not the worst thing cause I get it’s a busy environment. We ordered the 3 meal course for 6 pound, starter amazing! Fresh chicken dippers, couldn’t have asked for better. For the meal it was chicken curry and chips. Now I’m not going to complain cause it’s nothing really but. We had to pay an extra pound for rice? When Idk id expect a option for half and half or one or other. But again can’t complain tasted lovely and was good portion for the price. Now dessert. This is where I get very sad and disappointed. There is two options to choose from. Which was chocolate fudge cake . Or a strawberry gateau. So we ordered a chocolate fudge cake. After finishing our curry. We waited for our plates to be collected and for our dessert to be given. Now we sat there for a good 20-30 minutes waiting. With our curries still in front, so we decided to go up to ask how long it’ll take. We only then get told that there was no chocolate fudge cake left. Now I was only so disappointed because I’m a fussy eater, and I’m pregnant. I sat there for 20 odd minutes waiting for a dessert that was never going to arrive: so they give us the option of strawberry gateau, cheesecake or ice cream. Now I don’t particularly like cheesecake or strawberry gateau. Or plain ice cream for that matter. So I asked about like idk if they could possibly give me the money back for the dessert that I wasn’t going to have. Which could’ve been straight forward. 6 pound for 3 meals that’s 2 pound a meal. Simple. So instead I had to have a ice cream. Which wasn’t even great cause it came from a £1 scoop tub, they offered sauce . Which they didn’t spare much at all. Seeing my friend asked for some and they didn’t even put sauce on hers. Over all. Experience wasn’t great at all. Food is nice. But customer service isn’t great. Don’t expect the dessert you asked for. Be ready to be in risk of being disappointed , sorry for the rant . It’s just they also should’ve mentioned much earlier that there wasn’t any cake left."

Took the grandkids for dinner, fantastic value for money. Bit cold but sadly weathers fault. Meals were great, ladies good but smoke from front door off putting. Would be go again of course loved it.

First visit, but won't be the last. Lovely place, fabulous food and excellent value for money. Got the wheelchair in, no problems at all. Highly recommended. Will book next time as its busy because of their superb reputation.

Held a 50th birthday meal here. I shouldn't be saying it really but honestly what a place, food is excellent, prices are really good, staff are lovely. Overall an excellent venue. Parking is around the corner at the railway station.

We were a party of 20 people, we were all seated together in one room . The food was very nice , excellent value for money. Drinks were a bit expensive but hey you got to make money after all. Will definitely be recommending this restaurant. Girls serving sorry for forgetting your names

I've eaten here many times with family and they are always great. We often call ahead with dietary requirements and they always go above and beyond to make sure there are various options. The decor is gorgeous, and quite relaxing and homely. I usually go with my two young children and the staff are always happy to accommodate them. The value for money with the meals is brilliant. There are various offers on, and they are never small portions. They don't take card, which I know is an issue for some, but there is a free cash machine across the road

Our family of 17 visited The Ivor for a birthday and we were not disappointed. From the moment we walked into the room with the lights on the ceiling, all the candles lit and smelt amazing, it just made you feel completely relaxed. We ordered our food and it all came out really quick and was absolutely stunning. The staff were lovely and really chatty, Alex and Mandy had us all laughing at one point, they’re a right double act lol. Overall the whole family really really enjoyed and will definitely be back. With the prices 2 for £12 and the Grill club it’s an absolute bargain, don’t know how they do it.
