"Take a drive out and treat your taste buds to one of the best cavery in miles. When you arrive at the island pool there is ample parking and the building looks like modern styled pub with a country twist. Outside there are beautiful outdoor seating especially under trellis which was covered in plants, which looks great for photo opportunities. On entry to the pub, you'll get shown to your seat, the decor is light and airy and mostly very inviting. We went for a carvery and a broccoli bake (or something my veggie daughter ordered). The meat portion sizes where very good, the sides are what make this carvery stand out, yorkies, stuffing, cauliflower cheese, potato gratin, suede, carrots to be honest there is loads. They was restocking quite frequently as the cauliflower cheese was low and I nearly out...... Then at the last minute it came out with all its cheesy goodness. The facilities at the pub was very clean and we went near the end of the day. I really cannot fault this place, the staff were lovely and the food was outstanding and we left stuffed and happy. Just don't and seriously don't have a nap on your journey back if you're the driver."

It's always a delight to dine here, whether it's for the buffet breakfast, menu options, or carryout. We've even reserved our Valentine's Day meal at this restaurant. They're one of the few places that haven't raised their prices for Valentine's Day. The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is very relaxed. We're all looking forward to our next visit!

We visited the Island Pool at various locations and were consistently pleased with the service, food quality, and overall standards. Yesterday, we had our Christmas Day lunch there, and it did not disappoint; the meal was fantastic, the service was outstanding, and the entire experience was truly relaxing. I would rate it a perfect 10/10 for the Island Pool!

Lovely place, not much seating inside but they also have a large garden out front for when the weather is nice. The carvery is an absolute bargain and they often have deals on such as kids carvery for free over holidays etc. Great help to parents and an incentive to visit. The food is really nice and a good selection of drinks too. You can ask for as much meat as you want on the carvery, no slithers of meat that you can see through.
