Good service and food, decent sized portions. Covid-19 measures all make sense and are simple to follow. Wait for food was relatively quick and the staff offered to make a smaller sized pizza for our toddlers, so even though there isn't a kids menu, they made the effort to be accommodating.

We love the hideout. Due to lockdown they had run out of the food we wanted, however we completely understand their position. Their food is normally of an excellent standard and the service is top class. Therefore we have given them a 5 star today, even though we didn't stay. Stay safeHideout. See you soon.

We ate here as a walkin yesterday and the food was all fresh and homemade. We've booked to go again tomorrow. Good service, great decor(very quirky) but above all the food was worth returning for. Had 2 children dining with us that are a tad fussy and the waiter was really good and took time to make sure they could have what they wanted. All in all a great little find and highly recommended.

Great breakfast and service. We popped by before leaving Scarborough on a Monday and the waitress kindly fit us in despite being bookings only that day. The cafe looks great and it was fun to look round once we had ordered. The breakfast was very tasty and the staff very friendly. With the eat out to help out deal the meal was extremely reasonably priced so it was a perfect end to our trip, we'll be back next time we are in Scarborough.

Ordered two burgers,beef and mac and cheese and they were disgusting, the mac burger was plain cold pasta with melted cheese on and a cold burger that was so dry,complained to staff and said we were disappointed and only ate the chips,think they were re heated as the burger was so dry ,lady very abruptly said its made fresh and said she would only refund 1 meal,definitely wouldn't recommend or return Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £30–40 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5

First time in Scarborough and we were staying not far from The Hideout! Walked in off the street as a family of 4, the staff were really accommodating and managed to fit us in before the next reservation! Luckily we got to stay at our ease as they sorted something out! Friendly staff, really interesting decor and the food was lovely! The dessert special, Pistachio brownie with the works was to die for! Great food and drinks, great place and such friendly staff would recommend!!
