The food was quite basic, and I anticipated better quality given the meal's price. However, the service was excellent. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout my visit. What a wonderful pub/restaraunt. The best Sunday lunch i've had in a pub or restaurant. Excellent quality meat, crispy roast potatoes (rare to see outside home cooked), beautifully prepared vegetables. The best cauliflower cheese I've ever had eating out. Great wines. We absolutely love this place. The food is absolutely sublime, the staff are so friendly. The changing menu makes it so you can try new foods on a regular basis and the deal they have on a Wednesday is very reasonable. If you are in the area it's a must visit for dinner.
