Stopped for a pudding and coffee on way up country with wife. Met by a very friendly member of staff and had an amazing bread and butter pudding and the wife had a lovely sticky toffee pudding. We really recommend this friendly pub if passing again would go back for sure

The restaurant is situated in a fantastic location with ample parking and a lovely outdoor area. The menu offers a variety of options, and the food was delicious. However, I would rate it one star lower due to the lengthy wait time between ordering and receiving our food, especially since the restaurant wasn't busy at the time. Voir le carte

My partner and I stopped by on a whim, and neither of us was familiar with the area. We were greeted by friendly staff and a warm atmosphere. The service was excellent; we wanted to make a few minor changes to our orders, and there was no issue at all. The food was fantastic, and the portion sizes were generous. We will definitely return. Our experience was flawless, and I highly recommend it—you won't be disappointed!

The ambiance was lovely, featuring a beautiful log fire, and the food was both delicious and plentiful. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I was pleasantly surprised to find that non-alcoholic drinks, like lime and soda with a dash of cordial, were only 25p. It's quite frustrating when you go to other pubs and are charged £1 for water; it’s nice to see a place that values customer experience! I will definitely be returning.

I can’t say enough good things about this pub! I called from Cumbria to make a reservation, and I was greeted by a young man who was very welcoming. Both he and the young lady were incredibly pleasant and dedicated to their work. The atmosphere was fantastic! The steak and ale pie was the best I’ve ever had—hats off to the chef!
