"Lovely pub, nice atmosphere, lady serving was very welcoming. Brought treats over for my puppy. However I ordered the mushroom ravioli, and when it arrived the ravioli was sat in approx 1cm of garlic oil. The pasta was dark brown and incredibly greasy. Having only eaten a few mouthfuls, when the waiter came over, we explained the issue. He took the plates away and said he would tell the kitchen. When we were presented with the bill, we had been charged the full price for the mushroom ravioli. We questioned this given it wasn’t edible. The waiter said he would speak to management and returned with the bill with £4 deducted. We had still been charged £10 for a something which was inedible. No apology or anything. Other meals (pie and Mediterranean Tart) were fine. Disappointing customer service given how lovely it could have been."

Amazing pub, fabulous team of staff and owners/landlords all mucking in on a very busy evening Food top notch well presented and cooked Definitely recommend and will return when we're next here

Food was well presented and delicious. Sadly the service was not. Waited ages for food order, left before dessert as the promise by a member of staff to give us the menu never materialised after waiting 15 minutes.

Had dinner here on 11/08/22 Very friendly service, very welcoming staff and great atmosphere. Beautiful food and would highly recommend. Special mention to the girl who served us, not sure of her name. Very chatty, friendly young lady. Brilliant at her job!

I just came back to our campsite, from the creek of the moon. welcome, our dogs have 'home made doggy tasty bites on a silver dish! our server grace was friendly and helpful. eating, beer wine 10/10! beautiful pub and relaxed atmosphere. we will return. Thank you.

A super Sunday dinner perfectly cooked and the Yorkshire’s were clear homemade and very good. I and my daughter had the gammon that was super tasty and my mother said the chicken was great. We had the apple crumbs for pudding with custard and it was a massive part so I couldn't finish it, but it was so delicious. Will definitely visit again

We liked it so much we made sure to stop in a second time before leaving the area. The Fried Brie starter was amazing. For main dishes we had the Mushroom Ravioli, Sausage Trio, and the Guinea Fowl Special. All were well prepared and delicious. There was fireplace that was very cozy to sit next to. Reservations are recommended as it fills up quick .

We had a really excellent Sunday lunch here today. I had the cranberry nut roast which was delicious and a decent portion size. There were two other vegetarian options and they can accommodate vegans. Excellent veggie gravy and absolutely loads of veg on the side. It was a challenge to finish it all! There are around six meat options and my husband loved his which includes three meats and trimmings. Nice beers. Good service. Big marquee in the garden which is covered but has two open ends.
