Really enjoyed our pre Christmas Sunday lunch. Two roast dinners, lamb and beef with all the usual accompaniments. Also the duck which was especially delicious cooked as we like it, pink. Very friendly welcome from Julia who continued to look after us throughout our lunch. Thank you will be back

Really lovely country pub, great place for couples, friends or family. I went with two friends for xmas dinner, food was wonderful, a decent size and reasonably priced. Julia looked after us, made sure we had our drinks topped up and next courses on their way. She also went out of her way to help my friend too, amazing service. Would highly recommend! Voir le carte

Sunday lunch was absolutely delicous! Great roasts with generous but sensible portions which left room for the really tempting desserts. The service provided by Julia was superb friendly and helpful and just the right amount of time between each course. This is a lovely, dog friendly pub and what a great idea it is to offer a Doggy Bowl! We'll definitely be back and so will Finley!

My second time with my 95 year old grandmother who lives close by and loves the Gun as her little outing as a treat and it's a real treat for us too. As an ex-restaurant owner I notice the little things and the Gun has always thought of everything. Good veggie and vegan food, good portion sizes, incredibly clean restaurant tables glasses and crockery, amazing food and impeccable service from everyone, today from Andrea and Julia. We'll be back soon to try the pizza!

I had booked here for my partner's birthday, we also knew that we would have an amazing experience here. I had informed them that it was his birthday when booking our table. When we arrived we were welcomed and taken to our table, the menu looked good, our hostess Andrea was attentive and very lovely. The food was amazing, there was a good range of vegetarian meals and when my gut loving bowl arrived I couldn't have been happier, the scallops were enjoyed by my partner and eldest son and even though I don't eat them, they did look good. Once our dessert order was taken, we had a chance to chat, they then bought out the desserts and the staff in the kitchen had taken the time to create a love... Voir le carte
