The Guinea Grill - Carte

Eating was pretty good, but was smart at the high side price. they are also quite strict on table times. the service was fast and efficient. it's pretty cramped

The Guinea Grill is a lovely place for Sunday Lunch. Seating is a bit tight but the service was good and food lovely. A bit pricey, but it is in Mayfair-so to be expected.

Overcooked steak. Expensive menu, lack of service, very loud. Felt like a sloppy experience overall and absolutely not worth 100 quid a head. Seems other people love this place, so may have been a miss. Guinness was delightful though Voir le carte

they have a dining room opposite the pub where they can sit comfortably with some social distancing (if not too crowded). our steak was okay, but the lamb came to boil. the cake was not bad, a bit bigger and watery than expected, but I guess it's traditional.

it is small, old and expensive. but it is also known as one of the most important restaurant experiences of london and it is very difficult to object to it. great steak and brilliant atmosphere, good to go. Also note that the sides are absolutely excellent, they save some space to go on those also big.

it was my first time to eat traditional British cuisine, and I must say the quality was the best beer! from meat to sweet we were so happy at the end of our meal, thrilled by 3 different desserts (my favorite was the bread and butter pudding.) it is worth the money they spend (yes, it is a bit expensive.) I adore Guinea, I have been there at least 10 times. They serve the most delicious steaks and pies you could imagine. The beer and wine selection is fantastic, and the staff is very knowledgeable. My only critique is that the men's restroom could use some improvements, as it doesn't match the quality of the rest of the establishment.

Love the steaks, flavors came through! Service overall could be massively improved. Took an hour and a half to get the meals. Steaks weren't even that warm when it got served. Sommelier was knowledgable when I chose the wine however made decisions on his own when he probably ran out of the wine and served 1 bottle different without informing me. Good clean place with a chance of keeping things upscale but eat earlier so you get proper service.

On my second visit to this restaurant, I found myself cramped at a table despite requesting a specific one that remained empty. I had also asked for extra potatoes and fewer parsnips, but received the opposite - three potatoes and an overwhelming amount of parsnips. The wine was also priced much higher than expected. While these issues were eventually resolved after I complained, the overall experience was disappointing due to poor service. The Sunday roast is expensive, but worth it when done properly. Unfortunately, on this occasion, it fell short of expectations due to the mishaps. Voir le carte
