"I would give my experience a 0 out of 10. The manager at the bar made us feel unwelcome and was rude to me and my mother when we arrived. He only allowed us to order from one side of the menu, claiming it would be too much strain on the chef. Despite the place being empty, he insisted that we could only sit on one side of the restaurant. We decided to leave after ordering drinks, as the service was unprofessional and disappointing. It's a shame because we had a good experience last summer when the owner was not present. It seems like the place has changed for the worse. I would recommend going to the Nags Head pub across the road instead. I will be leaving a positive review there. Apologies for the negative feedback."

Really tasty mixed grill. All nice and hot apart from the mushrooms. Only thing missing, just a personal preference, was peas and eggs. Not too long to wait after placing order.

The food at this restaurant is absolutely amazing and very hot. I had the rib and rump, which was outstanding. The old faithful dish was the best meal by far. The local staff are friendly and very helpful, providing amazing service. They are more than willing to assist with any task.

Family meal on Sat 3rd Feb. Told the wait was 30 mins but still waiting for food 1hr and 10 minutes later. No good when you have 3 hungry kids with you. We eat here all the time but very disappointed this time around. I asked for my meal to be taken off the bill as it was awful. This was one of my Grandsons favourite places to eat but not anymore.
