"Food was absolutely delicious, really good choice of cider too. Mac and cheese was lovely. Great manager and set in a handy location, we were very pleased. However, a real shame about the young girl behind the bar with an embarrassing attitude… rolled up top and vaping inside, swearing loud in front of customers, and sending people cringe worthy posed selfies on her phone whilst people were waiting to be served… really disgusting attitude and just sat her on phone sadly. Will not be returning for this reason as it just made us feel a bit uncomfortable and she was a let down to the business and service we received. Wear your uniform properly, smile a bit, put your phone down, and get rid of the vape! Shame about the service as the food and the owner man were super lovely"

It used to have a good selection of real ales, but now usually just one, and that one has run out before now. Good value pub grub, would go more often if there was more real ale choice.

You just can't get better than this place. The new decoration and layout are incredible. The food is really good and the service is just fantastic, always a smile. Have a pizza or a burger and enjoy.

As a smoker, must give only a one star. A woeful treatment and hugely discriminatory to equal paying customers can’t smoke in the newly erected detached structure shuffled along some 50 yards to exterior garden and spying only one ashtray !! Voir le carte

Pub looks fabulous and it has a cosy and welcoming interior. I haven't eaten there yet but the menu looks good and reasonably priced. Staff very friendly, especially the young man...Colin or Callum I think his name was. Keep up the good work!

Disappointing meal, completely wrong order despite being the only customers. No extra onion rings, no mashed potato, an added unwanted fried egg and awful quality. One of the employees smoking near the back door but causing smoke to blow back into the premises. Poor value for money.

Have been coming here occasionally for a pint. Staff are very welcoming and accommodating. Today came and was a bit hungry so Paul said have a mixed grill unfortunately I went for salt and pepper squid and felt even more hungry so had a mixed grill after that was very good and yes please listen to Paul he now. Went for Sunday lunch, reasonably priced and ample servings. Unfortunately had a bad attack of Acid reflux and had to ask for the food as a takeaway. Staff and patrons alike were very concerned regarding my condition, even offering to call an Ambulance! so thoughtful but unnecessary for Acid reflux). Anyway, I shall return to try out more of the menu .

Not been this local pub in many in months. I am so happy that this local has a manager that a gives a care about the Good companions The food is getting a lot better I went in for a Sunday roast And it was brilliant the beef sirloin was cooked to my liking and the staff offered our table more gravy and drinks when our pints were short This is what we are missing
