Over night stay to brake up a long journey . We were very surprised at the welcome, how clean. It was absolutely lovely stay , the food was lovely they catered for my wife's dietary needs no problem, really enjoyed it, and will definitely go back. Karen Dave. Wild-limb

This was my first time dining at this restaurant, but a local resident mentioned that they had a bad experience in the past. I observed that there was a new chef working and the local had not been back since. My daughter enjoyed her children's meal, and I also liked the belly pork dish that I ordered.

We stopped by this restaurant for Sunday dinner after a long walk with friends. The food was fantastic, with generous portions of cauliflower cheese, vegetables, and perfectly cooked meat. The gravy was thick and delicious. The waitresses were very friendly and attentive without being too intrusive. We will definitely be coming back.

Whist working at this years Eisteddfod I managed to get a single room, it is a small room and as I’m a big bloke the staff apologised for the size but it was absolutely bang on Really well decorated, comfortable bed and a shower/bath Basic but still very nice continental breakfast I can’t really fault it and I would definitely stay again!

Booked a last minute room for the dog and myself. The bedroom was spacious, had a comfy bed as well as a seperate twin room off the main room, and it's own parking space right outside. The bar and restaurant are all dog friendly and do meals for dogs as well as humans. Poppy (who looked after us) was very friendly and is an asset to the company. My dog loved his stay here.

I stopped by this restaurant while staying at the valley in my campervan with my dog. The bartender, who was also serving food, was incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout our visit. Despite sometimes feeling uneasy going out alone, he made us feel right at home. The food and drinks were delicious, especially the scotch egg. We will definitely be coming back again. It was my fourth stay at your hotel, I absolutely love it. So cosy, clean and friendly. Love that we can bring the dogs and they are made to feel so welcome too. Rooms are decorated lovely and are always so clean and comfortable. The staff who I have seen some of each time I have stayed can’t do enough for you and work so hard. I can’t recommend your hotel enough to anybody thinking of a a quaint, quiet place to stay with their dogs in a lovely part of wales

Booked based and a few pics and reviews.. walked in not knowing what to expect and was very surprised at how lovely it was inside. Lovely bar area and lovely staff. Room was really lovely and clean. Nice large comfy bed. Shower was nice and hot. I sat and had the gammon egg and chips and a few drinks and felt very comfortable there. Woke in and went down to breakfast which was more continental style. Staff member made me a pot of tea and was on hand incase I needed anything else… I was very happy with the food and had my fill before I headed off into Llangollen.. I would 100% return
