"We visited today because the carvery the advertised looked delicious unfortunately it wasn't. The beef was excellent the roast potatoes were hard, like bullets, I have no words to describe the Yorkshire pudding, the gravy was stone cold and didn't taste very nice. The pub/ restaurant was quiet busy, it was no noisy pretty much like a kindergarten! screaming kids)We have no issues with noise or people enjoying themselves obviously it's a pub) you had to shout to hear each other. The most disgusting thing was the two families on the long table on the left as you enter the dining area, with children had a small dog with them the dog was sitting on the long seat the people fed the dog putting the food directly on the seat, the dog ate the food licking the seat clean when it finished, it made us feel sick! No fault of the pub but somebody unaware of this may have nice clean smart clothes on will sit on a dirty unhygienic seat. No issues with pets being in pubs as long as they're under control having them on the furniture is a no no especially when they eat off on the seat. As well a hygiene issue some people have allergies unknowing what has happened before. Unfortunately we wouldn't recommend the globe nor return, considering the money we paid it was ott. There are many pubs in the area where the Sunday lunches that are better quality and competitively priced. We had intended staying in the pub to watch the football but due to the noise we were uncomfortable our friends who were going to join us for the game decided not too we went home."

I work nearby sometimes and needed a meal . I’m gluten free and found the options easy to find on the menu. Lovely food.

We visited on a Friday evening and received excellent service. The food was both visually appealing and delicious. The restaurant was clean and we appreciated the small touches at our table.

Popped in to see an old friend at The Globe along with a couple of friends for a quick drink. Nice atmosphere great staff and we decided to order bar snacks these turned out to be excellent and decent size portions piping hot. Definitely a drinking establishment we will be returning to in the near future. Give The Globe a try if you’re in the area.. Voir le carte

The food was slow to arrive. People who arrived much later than us were served first. The kids burger was spicy and full of salt and the meat raw in the middle!!! And the size of a huge adult burger. Inedible and dangerous. A truly awful kids meal. The chips were burnt and dry on all the meals and covered in salt. Again indelible. Some food items were missing altogether on meals.

I had to send back my first roast because it was served cold, and unfortunately the second one was also cold, so I decided to leave the pub. For nearly £17 each, I expected better. Additionally, all the food did not arrive at the same time. There were lots of waiting staff around, so maybe some could assist in the kitchen. The staff were apologetic and friendly, but I will choose to dine elsewhere in the future.

The Globe is quite simply the best pub in London, and IMO the country!! I have worked/ travelled all over the UK for the past 10 years, and not many pubs have even come close. The bar staff make you feel at home, and for a northern bloke, that makes a big difference! The food is another reason that makes you want to keep going back, just been in with 2 workmates, I’ve been singing it’s praises all day, needless to say, they weren’t disappointed!! Another 2 converts! Without doubt 10/10 Thank you! Voir le carte

I came in here on a Sunday afternoon and as I’m fully aware it is a family friendly pub it’s actually ridiculous that the staff allowed this little boy to run around the beer garden screaming it’s head off for a whole hour!!! And the parents are just sat their doing nothing. It really ruined my afternoon and there was a few people complaining to each other about the noise of this child. I have worked in hospitality for many years and it’s the managements role to at least discreetly tell the parents about the child.

I absolutely adore The Globe. The staff at the bar are incredibly helpful, they even put on the tennis game for us in the outdoor garden bar. The food was fantastic as well. Both of us ordered the chargrilled salmon with teriyaki and sesame, and it was cooked to perfection. It was probably the best salmon I have ever tasted. I would have given this place a perfect 5-star rating, but unfortunately, the chocolate brownie we ordered for dessert was incredibly dry and inedible. If we were still at the restaurant, I would have sent it back. However, the delicious main course made up for this mishap, so I would rate The Globe 4 out of 5 stars.

"A Culinary Journey Through India: Exquisite Flavors Await! Stepping into this Indian restaurant was like stepping into a culinary oasis. The air was redolent with the fragrant spices of India, promising an adventure for the taste buds. The ambiance, adorned with traditional Indian decor, transported me to the streets of Mumbai. Let's delve into the heart of the experience the food. The Tandoori chicken stole the show, perfectly marinated and cooked to juicy perfection. Each bite was a burst of smoky flavor that left me craving for more. And the Biryani? Simply divine. The fragrant rice, layered with tender meat and aromatic spices, was a symphony of flavors. However, a word of caution: the green chili served alongside packs a fiery punch, so tread carefully if you're not accustomed to the heat! But what truly elevated the experience was the impeccable service. The owner's son, who served as our waiter, was the epitome of friendliness. His warm demeanor and attentive service made us feel right at home, enhancing the overall dining experience. In conclusion, my visit to this Indian restaurant was nothing short of extraordinary. With tantalizing dishes like the Tandoori chicken and flavorful Biryani, complemented by the friendly service, it's a culinary journey you won't want to miss. Whether you're a seasoned fan of Indian cuisine or embarking on your first adventure, this restaurant is a must visit destination!"
