"The pub at The George Inn is amazing. We tried to drop in on a Sunday, hoping to snag a table, but they were fully booked. The staff was super helpful and polite, though. We ended up booking a table a few days later and we were really happy that we did. The food was excellent and they had a great selection of wine and beer. The wood-fired pizzas were especially delicious and very reasonably priced. If we find ourselves in the area again, we will definitely be stopping by The George Inn."

This cozy pub/restaurant is a gem. The staff are incredibly friendly and the menu is easy to follow. The calamari and lamb dishes were outstanding!

Really lovely welcome here and we had a pleasant meal with the dog. The scallop starter special was lovely, as was the blanche bait (though the portion could have been bigger). The gammon special was excellent, as was the fish pie but the sea bass dish was a little disappointing (all dishes could have been seasoned more).
