Had a lovely early bird menu dinner with my husband. Great food, cooked to perfection. Can not fault the service.

I recently had a meal with my family on 15/06/2024 and I must say it was fantastic. The food was excellent, the service was excellent, and overall it was a very enjoyable experience to spend time with my family.

First time here. Shown to a table for two by a lovely bubbly waitress. Comfortable dining area. We ordered a main and dessert and drinks. Absolutely delicious, dessert was amazing easter cheesecake. Very reasonably priced,lovely music relaxing atmosphere,overall excellent experience, will definitely call in again.

The service at The Gables is exceptional every time. Lisa and Niall are very friendly and accommodating. I booked a meal for 40 people after my daughter's christening and the food was absolutely delicious, with service that was second to none. The staff were very attentive, checking on us several times to see if we wanted more food or drinks. I highly recommend booking The Gables for a function. Voir le carte

Whenever I return home from Australia, I always make it a point to stop at The Gables. It's a beloved restaurant for my family and always has been. The staff are outstanding and very attentive. Recently, we held a family Christening here and Lisa and Niall were incredibly helpful. They allowed us to set up before the restaurant opened and made sure all 40 guests were happy. Nothing was too much to ask for them. Thank you, as always, for maintaining the wonderful atmosphere, service, and delicious food!

Booked for a private function and the value of food given out for how much we were getting charged was absolutely shocking not worth it at all. Every guest had the same opinion. When going to pay they had no record of money already paid so make sure to keep receipts and bank transfers for proof of purchase. head chef was very rude and disrespectful should not be talking that way at all to paying customers. don’t bother wasting your money on this place first time at this restaurant and me nor any other family will be back

I just wanted to drop a wee review to comment on the standard of the food. My father and I stopped on saturday evening and were treated to a beautiful meal. The only downside to the experience was the service. when we arrived there were three staff at the bar and they completely ignored us, this was despite a large sign Please wait to be seated . When they eventually seated us and took our drinks order they got it wrong. Bearing in mind there were only two of us this was disappointing. The meal cam and was devoured and it took almost 15 minutes to get the attention of a member of staff to get the bill. The barman clearly told the waiter that we wanted service as my father had his hand in the... Voir le carte
