First time visiting. Impressed, large portions. Good chef. Well worth a vist

I had lunch at this restaurant and it was very quiet. I ordered the special meze which had generous portions and was delicious, I highly recommend it. The house wines were of good quality. The service was good and the overall experience was great value. I will definitely be returning.

I first visited The Four Lanterns in 1979 for a friends birthday celebration then worked nearby from 1981 1996 and was a regular visitor with work colleagues. I am visiting London this weekend and am so pleased that restaurant is still there and the food and service is as good as ever.

From the hummus and freshly baked bread to the grilled cheese appetizer we were pleasantly surprised by the quality and taste, eagerly anticipating the main course it did not disappoint. Our Lamb was perfectly prepared and we were both so impressed our conversation literally stopped as we each devoured our meal! The wait staff were perfectly attentive, suggesting the best dessert we’ve had since traditional family gatherings! I could not recommend more a better meal and dining experience! A gem in London!

Fantastic restaurant, with a really homey feel. We were looking for a real Greek/Cypriot taverna, with reasonable prices, and simple home-cooked ingredients. All the waiters (including the chef, who came out a few times to check on us) were incredibly friendly, and you can tell they are passionate about serving delicious food. We had a whole grilled fish and the moussaka, both of which were excellent and homemade. They do also offer an extensive (and incredibly priced) tasting menu of greek mezzes, which we will certainly try next time. Highly recommend this restaurant!
