The restaurant is bustling with activity, but the outdoor garden is equipped with heaters and umbrellas.

These guys took a large booking for my birthday at really short notice and honestly the staff were great. Atmosphere was spot on too. Thank you for helping me enjoy a lovely birthday!

I absolutely love the three-meat roast with the best mint sauce I have ever tasted. The restaurant also offers a wide variety of beers and ales on tap, and the wait staff is very friendly. Voir le carte

Very warm welcome by all the staff. Food was a little disappointing as some items were substituted and not mentioned beforehand. Also, our food was quite salty. Lovely quaint pub situated in the lovely St Albans and staff were so polite and courteous.

Went for a Christmas meal as a large group. It was a raucous atmosphere due to the carol singing event that was going on, but this added to the fun. The staff were friendly and efficient, and served us well even though we were a large group and the rest of the pub was so busy!

head and shoulder up! not a pint stella or green king ipa in itself! a very large selection of well maintained craftsmen, real ales and warehouse wines. perfect to wash the food from their menu from local sources and food.
