A Historic Coventry Forum meet-up breakfast. Good Food Drink. So lovely warm on a bitterly cold day, when most places are skimping on energy bills.

I'm a regular at the flying standard an usually I'm quite happy with the food but on last visit on the 9th dec I was quiet disappointed not only is the burger reduced in size but the amount of chips on my plate was minuscule I counted 9total.

We had a wonderful experience at the restaurant, especially thanks to the staff member Jaya. She made us feel very welcome, spoke to us nicely, helped us with drink and food choices, and even cheered me up when I was feeling down. You have a great employee in her. Voir le carte

Have to say that in my experience of different Wetherspoons venues. This had to be the cleanest I have been in. Well done to the staff here As per normal the Ladies was a trek several flights of stairs!! Food was very good, menu had lots to choose Drinks reasonable prices as per normal

Spent a week in Coventry visiting family. Each morning had the good full Ulster Fry breakfast or the American breakfast with tea, coffee, toast and jam. Food was served in good time and was hot to warm and one could drink as much tea or coffee as one wanted to. Staff were very friendly and got you wanted you wanted when asked. 2 full breakfasts £19 so overall well fed until evening time.

The food at this Wetherspoons is just average. During our weekend trip to Coventry with another couple, we had breakfast there twice and dinner once. The clientele is not the greatest, with some people even sleeping on sofas early in the morning. Outside customers were being bothered by homeless people trying to sell them stolen items. Haven't had a Wetherspoons breakfast before but if they are all like this it won't be our last. There is a good choice, I had Eggs Benedict with perfect poached eggs and enough ham to last us for a week, service was quick, endless coffee, and price was right, not sure these days how they do it for the price. The restaurant was rather cramped and the tables small for a party of 3, however it was busy and so the takings were being maximised. There is a disabled lift which was helpful for my husband.

I must say, this Wetherspoons restaurant has the best customer service I have ever experienced. The bar staff were friendly, efficient, and quick, while the food servers brought out delicious dishes in a timely manner. The two males working on the ground floor on the evening of 16/6/23 were exceptional and courteous, quickly clearing tables and maintaining a tidy dining area. It was a pleasant surprise to see such attention to detail, as I am used to seeing pubs with tables piled high with empty glasses and dirty plates. Thank you for the wonderful experience.
