The Fishers Pond - Carte

The service and food at this restaurant are outstanding. It's a delightful place to have a meal and drinks. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

Very lovely place on the lake, great food great service, gets busy so always book a table. We’ve never had a bad meal so far. The fillet is gorgeous.

I have been to this restaurant multiple times and the food is amazing. Enjoying a meal outside while overlooking the pond on a beautiful day is a wonderful experience. I have no complaints at all, it is a fantastic place.

We were very disappointed with the service we received on arrival. We were told by a very stroppy lady that they had no booking for us despite me having confirmation on my phone. She didn’t want to know. We won’t be going there again!

The menu was very limited and the service was was very slow. The table opposite us waited 15 minutes for a cup of coffee from the bar. We waited half hour for our main meal. We didn't order a dessert as couldn't chance another half hour wait Voir le carte

Our experience at the restaurant was very disappointing. We had requested a table for four in the area of the restaurant known as the forties section, but we were instead seated at a table in the back that was not what we had asked for. It seems that our request was not able to be fulfilled, even though we were assured that it would be. Due to this letdown, we have decided not to book a party for my 80th birthday at this restaurant. Our trust in the reliability of the staff has been shaken.

Waited a fair while for someone to take a drinks order so OH went to the bar. While he was there waiting to be served we had our drinks order taken at the table but that was about 25 mins after getting there. Was really looking forward to a steak. Was given menus but wasn’t told they had no steak until it was time to order. Then I felt compelled to quickly make another choice and ended up with a burger. I never order burgers. It wasn’t what I had planned for our Anniversary meal but it was ok. Fishers Pond has an attractive setting and is a clean, well laid out restaurant. On arrival a queue had formed at the bar and we were uncertain how we should proceed. No one came to us and we waited 5 10 minutes before someone said we could take a certain table. We took ourselves there we were not shown or given the possibility of a table nearer to the water. The restaurant was busy but not full. Once seated everything went much more smoothly. However, 2 of the meals we chose were no longer available despite still being on the menu, and we had not been advised otherwise when we sat down.
