"I absolutely love the Ferryman: it 's my 'go-to ' for coffee, breakfast, or a quick bite from the deli whenever I 'm in Laugharne. Tom, Melanie, and the team are bright and cheerful, and always accommodating. The food is great, the coffee is second to none, and where else in the world can you walk through the door for the first time in a year and be greeted by name? This is a business that deserves your support, not just because the food and drink on offer is superb, but because the people running it are warm, genuine, and very special."

This place is absolutely amazing! The coffee and cake were fantastic! The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious and the deli behind the cafe looked wonderful.

Went in only for a coffee and cake. Both were excellent, especially home made Passion Fruit Muffins. Very friendly atmosphere too. Will go for lunch next time, as menu sounded interesting, and reviews suggest would be excellent as well.

fantastic small place, friendly cafe owners we have come in a long time. had the best victoria sponge that we had and made of the owner mother, so it is a family affinity. highly recommended to go there if they are in the opposite. pic is laugharne burg Voir le carte

Very small with only a few tables/seats. Ignored when we first entered but eventually told there was no room, although we felt with a little reorganisation we could have been accommodated. Shame because four of us were ready to order lunch, but we took our custom elsewhere!

great little deli café. owner was brilliant offer sound, unpretentious consulting and not for sale. generous portion sizes. we had tomato and red pfeffer soup with fresh bread and a decent part of the local cheese. our for a walk then again for homemade cakes and coffee together with a few deli bits for the evening. definitely worth a visit.

Visited Laugharne on way back to Essex after a holiday in St. Florence (at the amazing Fiddlers Green Cottage! . Was directed to this little gem where we received a friendly welcome and had good coffee and tea and very good cakes the best chocolate brownie ever had, was the verdict. The deli is well stocked and apparently well used by locals. Wish we had time to stay for lunch as the menu looked delicious maybe next time! Voir le carte

We popped in for a coffee and what a treat it was. It is a small cafe with a deli out the back, so the smells are amazing. The ginger cake was the best I've eaten in years and the slice of coffee cake was huge. The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable and it's clearly a hit with locals who too were chatty without being intrusive. We ended up leaving with some fabulous homemade pies (I would call them small quiches) which were delicious. Can't wait to pop in again.

After reading reviews from others, myself and some friends decided to stop at The Ferryman for lunch on our way back from a weekend in West Wales. I cannot stress enough how impressed we were with the food! Two of us ordered the Caribbean curry while the other two had the Lentil soup. We all couldn't stop talking about how delicious and high-quality the meals were. The staff was also very accommodating and friendly. We will definitely be returning to The Ferryman next time we are in the vicinity of Laugharne to try more of their menu.
