Absolutely amazing venue and staff. Food and presentation and how fresh it is is actually second to none. Brilliantly priced and amazing decor and atmosphere.

I had the battered black pudding for starter and an amazing rump steak as main. Can recommend 100% succulent steak. Could do with a sauce option, but I may have missed this from the menu.

The food was excellent. I hadn't been in a while because the food used to be bland, but decided to give it another try with the new owners. It's definitely back on my list of favorite places to go. Voir le carte

Very extensive menu, great prices, special 2 for £14 is very good value. Good service and nice friendly and helpful staff. Pleasant surroundings, obviously had alot of money spent on doing the pub up.

Best Sunday carvery ever, we travel around for Sunday lunch a lot and this place is #1 by far. Very busy around lunch time but worth the wait. Piping HOT and the gravy is to die for. Friendly staff and great service, we have been before but stopped visiting until the new owners took over and they are not disappointing anyone. 100% will be going every week from now on.

We had heard that Aaron and his partner took over this pub, so we had high expectations. We decided to try out their Sunday lunch carvery and we were not disappointed. The meal was excellent, with a choice of meat and a selection of about six different vegetables to choose from. We also enjoyed homemade Yorkshire pudding and plenty of delicious gravy. Tried The Farrers Bar and Restaurant in Crook tonight. It’s just been taken over by new management. We ordered a 10oz sirloin steak with Diane sauce. It came with homemade chips, onion rings and salad. Also Cajun spiced sliced steak with king prawns which came with rice, garlic bread and homemade chips. A pint of lager, a pint of cider, coke and a white wine. Total £50. Worth every penny. Portions were huge, service was excellent and everything was fresh and delicious. There’s also a beer garden with a bouncy castle for the kids.

Located just off the A689, a short side road leads you to the Farrers Arms where you can park your car. We made a reservation for Sunday lunch and were promptly seated at our table. After ordering drinks and a small Sunday lunch at the bar, we were given a plate each with a choice of roast, gammon, turkey, or beef. The wide selection of vegetables was self-serve, along with a delicious brown gravy. Cutlery and napkins were not on the table but available at a nearby station. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive, checking in on us regularly. Although we couldn't find the menu online, the cost of the food was reasonable, and we plan to return for a mid-week meal.

Welcome back cosy local! You can 't help but notice if you live local to Crook the popularity of 'The Farrer 's ' since it re-opened. Many an evening people flood to the welcoming atmosphere and deep sinking carpets of a lovely local pub with amazing staff, service and 'how do they do it that cheap? ' value food. We 've been in a couple of times recently for meals and the food has been great every time. On a recent date night we enjoyed Prawn Cocktail and Mozzarella Sticks and it was delicious, the starter portions were large.
