"I would recommend the Dun Cow with several reservations: My friend and I, both over eighty and one with mobility difficulties and despite having booked a table, were shown to a small table beside the hearth with a very dangerous corner stone, at the furthest point from the main entrance, where we tolerated an extremely loud family and a screaming child. We by-passed a table in the first room which we wrongly thought was for us as it had a reserved notice on it. What a shame, it would have made the whole Dun Cow experience much more enjoyable had we been given that table!"

Their Excellent Level of Table Service simply matches my expectations and adds immensely to the overall experience. Food portions were very good and cooked to perfection and served with a huge smile with every plate.

Lovely meal on Sunday afternoon. Delicious food with a choice of either Sunday Roast or the main menu. Great starters...gorgeous main meal. Large portions, so no room for a pudding. Friendly, helpful staff and great service.

the service and the ambiente were good at the dun kuh, but the eating was again very bad. was well heated and then dry chips and draught and gumy rice were brought out. not nice! the complaint was handled well by the employees. Voir le carte

Very limited choices available with my first two choices being sold out. Service was very robotic and extremely slow. Waited an extraordinary amount of time for food, service and then payment. Other people around us were also complaining. Very disappointing and frustrating experience for average and overpriced food

Had a booking at 6.30, Waited 1hr 32mins at least for food to arrive. we chased it up as tables around us that came after all had their food and some. Had even finished and onto dessert, when it came out all sweet potato fries were burnt and hard (havre photos to prove) (with added 50p each dish) we mentioned to the waitress but was still charged for them. Staff are nice and helpful but food was dry, warm and burnt. Clearly forgot about us.
