the burger was not bad and the pommes were really good. the environment and decoration was cool and nice, nice soundtrack. relaxing place to lunch.

Unable to have just a pint at 1:30pm after I cycled past because I was in my ‘work clothes’ clean pants and trainers with a company logo jacket Poor excuse for a pub

Lovely pub for a drink, good atmosphere and very lively, but food service was terrible. Ordered an item, paid for it, waited 45mins to be told they don’t have any left but they can make something else. Refund only issued on asking.

Friendly service from most staff.The food tastes fine, but the veggie main (pasta) is super small (my partner was hungry afterwards), as are some of the other dishes we tried some of the combos flavour parings also seem odd. Feels like the dishes were designed by someone who doesn't enjoy food.

Been here a few times for Sunday roast. You can 't go wrong for the price. The building is quirky and dog friendly throughout. Food is good value and even has discounted food for seniors. Unfortunately I was unable to cut through my pork belly so left it. My partners beef was fine. Service could be better. Stood at the bar to check in for our table for 10 minutes. No one acknowledged we were there. A quick 'hello will be with you shortly ' goes a long way.

This is a tasty little corner pub that has it all. Good food, a range of tasty beers and lagers and for me, a stunning lineup of tequila now it’s off the tourist track, but worth the effort and easily reachable by tube, car or foot. The staff are **** amazing and great to engage with. The food is solid traditional pub grub that has its surprises. Fish n chips, burger, salad all tasty and filling and on a good summers evening, you might catch Morris dancers outside. Take the time, give it a go.

w solid choice. cosier as tommyfield for a nice pint. on Sunday for a roast yuppy oase, but in some cases this means only a decent pub with good ales (and board games if that is how they choose to live their lives). if they meet someone with access to the northern line for a pint, this pub is worth a punt [to find a pub for a double date, criteria must be nice ' must show that the rugby' booked a table for two hours in advance and absolutely nailed it w/a perfect view of the screen to our lunch.

A smile wouldn’t go amiss, or perhaps some manners? We arrived at the Dog House at around 9:15pm. We’d been told that there burgers were excellent and after a busy day all 9 of us were famished. Sadly upon arrival the Kitchen was closed so no food for us, our fault for our lack of haste. So we sat outside, enjoyed a pint and decided to order Uber Eats to the pub as most places were shut for food. By the time food arrived the outside area was shut. But thankfully our friend had his wonderful Land Rover on the street next to the pub, which we all sat in the back of where we finsihed off our pints and ate our food. As we ate we noticed all the staff and manger starting at us through the windows...
