The Dashwood And - Menu

when we called on a narrow boat holiday in dashwood. we got a table although we can not book and just say that the meal service wein and atmosphere were excellent. that's not an ordinary pub. that is first class restaurant. I can see why the place began to fill up as the evening went. just great!

we had a Sunday walk in the opposite organized and decided to end lunch in the dashwood arms. there were 12 of us so we booked well in advance and our menus in the week before the walk chosen we arrived on time and within 5 minutes down, all 12 of us were served our delicious Sunday dinners. excellent service, excellent meal and excellent staff well made dashwood arms, we will be back

Absolutely fantastic service and food! We booked the Dashwood last minute for Sunday lunchtime. The lovely young woman on the phone was really helpful and flexible. The service throughout our meal was spot on. Food was amazing great portions, beautifully cooked and served. I...am gluten free and that didn’t present any problems. We sat outside in really lovely surroundings. We will definitely be back!

First visit to Kirtlington. Had a wonderful Sunday lunch. The choice of menu was a real surprise. Alongside traditional Sunday roast there were a few exciting alternatives. The wife had a roast there was never any danger of her sharing although she struggled to finish...it. The fish was a nice choice. Light and very tasty. The staff were very friendly and really could not do enough for us. The landlord made us all feel very welcome. We will be going back very soon.

We sat outside to have Sunday lunch. Nearly everything was great apart from the beef! There was very little of it 4 very small slices and only one was edible due to the tough fat running through it. I couldn’t cut it let alone...try to chew it! No one checked us throughout the meal. When paying £17 for a roast I expect it to be perfect. Reluctantly we were only charged half price but the attitude of staff was not reasonable. Sorry to say this as it’s a shame as everything else was good.

We visit the Dashwood to meet up with my son and his family just before they moved to Tier 3. We had to change or booking due to the short notice of the new tier system but the Dashwood accommodated us without any problem. We...ate outside in a gazebo with heating and a fire pit to keep us warm. We really appreciated this kind gesture. The food was excellent as were the mulled wine and hot chocolate. We felt very Covid secure and have decided to make this pub our future rendezvous with my son and family. Thanks everyone at the Dashwood.

after a nice long walk around kirtlington we had a nice lunch. I had the vegetarian roast that was delicious and not think like most I veg roast and my higher half had a delicious wobbles bahji burger that could go one. the children's menu had many possibilities, the roasting looked good, but we gave in and they had 2 delicious pizzas! beautiful wine selection and they had alcohol-free beer on camp. the pub seemed to be family-run and everyone was very friendly! kid friendly, dog friendly and also I forgot to mention with food allergies helpful as both have my 2 allergies. and they have a gluten-free frit, which is also good for other allergies, obviously always to check, but it is a relief...
