We found The Crown a very warm and friendly pub if we are in the area again we wouldn't hesitate to go there again.

I enjoy the Crown it's a nice back room and you meet some interesting people it's sort of low key against other places so makes for a pleasant relaxing lounge.

Great atmosphere with good music not pop! Lots of regulars so must be good! Close to town and offers food. Next to St Marys church which is historic and beautiful.

Visiting the Melton Mowbray for the local market, meant we were hungry after all that walking. The Crown is a typical English pub just off the high street. Nothing special, but the food tasted good.

We were looking for somewhere to eat where we could take dogs (2 in our party). After walking the streets we stumbled across this put. One of the best Sunday roasts we have had and accommodated 2 dogs.

Was looking for somewhere that did Sunday roast, happened upon the crown. Food was tasty and plenty of veg and at a reasonable price. Staff friendly and helpful. Enjoyed our visit would eat there again.
