£5 entry to get into an empty bar, can 't pay it on card only cash, so likely to be a tax dodge. Toilets need a massive renovation as they stink and there 's water all over the floor. Staff are sound, big beer garden but very few people go in anymore.

Awful service, subpar beers, and poorly made cocktails at inflated prices. The bar staff and manager were rude, focused solely on making a quick profit from customers. Several patrons walked out after waiting 10 minutes without being served. The disrespectful attitude of the staff even made my wife cry. Price per person: £20–30.

Quiet impromptu lunch with a friend. Expected mediocre pub food but we were impressed with what we received. Home made and freshly cooked to order I enjoyed steak and ale pie and my friend had the chicken and bacon one. Both came with triple cooked chips and garden peas... This pub is well-managed and has a great smoking area, dance area (perfect for late nights on weekends), and regular live music. The Steakhouse is amazing, thanks to the talented chef. The pub has a charming thatched roof and a modern interior with big screen TVs, making it more suitable for a younger crowd. The selection of real ales and lagers is excellent.
