"Contacted The Crown to ask if we could stay in their car park in our camper van on a sunday night if we ate or drank inside. They told me they didnt serve food on a sunday night but we were still welcome to stay overnight in the car park. We made sure to get there for sunday lunch with another couple who met us there. The food was lovely, the staff were very welcoming, the bar was busy and very friendly. I had a lovely mango cider too. We parked in the overflow car park overlooking a field so a nice view too. Peaceful night. Would recommend. Thank you."

Called to see if we could stay in our motorhome and have a meal. They explained that they had a party that night but we could still stay! Had to try the real ales, which were amazing. Birthday meal for 6. Arrived late and at the end of their lunch service but they accommodated us and the service was fantastic. The food was really good quality.
